ISAAC ASIMOV LABORATORY
Robotics Laboratory aims to impart the practical knowledge in industrial manipulator and autonomous mobile robot. Also it provides hands on experience to enhance skills in robot programming, embedded programming and machine vision algorithms. The Laboratory is well equipped with the following facilities:

INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION LABORATORY
Industrial Automation laboratory , Sensors and Instrumentation lab focuses on providing hands on experience by interfacing field devices with 8085,8051, Arduino Microcontroller, Raspberry Pi, Electro Mechanical Relays And PLC’s, Diodes , Starin Gauge Load Cell S&H Kits, Electro-Mechanical Sensors , Comparators ,Phase Measurements and data communication to IoT module. This laboratory plays a key role in providing knowledge about different layers of automation incorporated in industry.

DIGITAL SYSTEM DESIGN LAB
The goal of this lab is to learn the fundamentals of digital logic levels, as well as to develop and test basic digital electronics circuits. Combinational circuits, sequential circuits, digital logic families, and programmable logic devices are among the devices designed and tested.
The major components are:
- Digital IC tester.
- Digital IC's (Gates, MUX, Decoder, Comparator, Encoder)
- FPGA Trainer kit
CAD/CAM LAB

Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) centre affords space for students to work on diverse aspects of design and manufacturing related activities.

Students have access to advanced tools in design, analysis, simulation and manufacturing platforms to explore and gain knowledge.

This lab also focuses on providing the hands-on experience in the additive manufacturing technique (Fused Deposition Modelling) to realize product development. This laboratory is equipped with the latest software’s and workstation.

CNC LABORATORY
Programming knowledge and practice is given to the students in trainer and production machines (Lathe and Mill). In addition, this lab will provide hands on training to the students.
HYDRALICS AND PNEUMATIC LABORATORY
Laboratory is equipped with FOUR pneumatic trainer kits, two hydraulic trainer kits, three hydraulic power packs, Servo hydraulic training kit and proportional flow & pressure control trainer kit. The pneumatic kits include basic pneumatic, advanced pneumatic, electro pneumatic, programmable controlled pneumatic and servo pneumatic handling system. The lab is furnished with equipment’s from renowned firms like FESTO, JANATICS and Hydrosmith etc.

INDUSTRY COLLABORATION
Centre for Factory Automation and Robotics was established in association with CDCE Automation, Chennai to impart training in Industrial Automation and Robotics for the students. (2018-2019)
MOU signed with CADD centre, Chennai for providing hands on training to the students in AutoCAD software.
MOU signed with FESTO, Chennai for providing hands on training to the students in HYRAULICS AND PNEMATIC.
