The department is well equipped with the state of the art laboratories like Survey lab with Total station, digital theodolite and GPS. The soil Mechanics laboratory is equipped with tri-axial testing machine, unconfined compression testing machine and consolidation testing facilities. Concrete Technology lab is set up with all facilities to test the material characteristics of building materials and Bitumen. The strength of Materials laboratory is equipped with a 40 Ton UTM. The Department is facilitated withFluid Mechanics and Machinery Laboratory with prototypes of turbines, pumps, and flow measuring equipment and Environmental Engineering Laboratory.
CADD Laboratory
The CADD lab has been created exclusively to cater training of all students in the latest CAD software. The software available includes AutoCAD, STADD Pro and Revit Architecture.

Centre of Excellence
The Department has been sanctioned with three sponsored research projects by DST-SERB,DST-WMT & DRDO-NRB and a Centre of Excellence in “Sustainable Construction Materials" is established. The Centre of Excellence has various research facilities, few of which are, Loading Frame with a Capacity of 100Ton along with accessories, advanced equipment like RCPT, Optical Microscope, Steam Curing Chamber and Concrete Durability testing equipment.
