Team Yi YUVA REC, as part of the Green Thumbs initiative for World Earth Day, visited the Mahatma Gandhi Seed School. Children from 6th to 12th grade planted saplings, shared their ambitions, and watered the plants. With each plant carefully placed in the soil, the young participants took responsibility to preserve and water the newly planted saplings. The team also organized sports activities that included cricket, carrom, volleyball, badminton, and throw ball before bidding a heartfelt goodbye. The event successfully promoted environmental awareness and inspired the children to dream big. The event turned out to be a very successful one, as we a shared a very beautiful bond among ourselves and with the mother nature. With loads of fun, we all realised our responsibility even more.
